FACILITATING TM INSTRUCTION

In response to the current situation, the Governors of Israel have started teaching TM for free to people from the area near Gaza who are suffering from trauma. So far 52 people have been instructed and over $50,000 has been raised for this, including a GoFundMe campaign.

One participant said ‘I did not know if I ever would be at peace again. After learning TM, I was amazed how quickly I felt peace.‘

OUR PLANS GOING FORWARD
Over 50 Sidhas from Israel are attending the 10,000 Assembly in India. There was a flying block this summer so everyone has completed their Sidhis course and will come as full Sidhas.

Phase 1 of the project is to teach 600 people for $200,000. We hope that we will be able to teach many thousands and get above the 1% threshold in the area near Gaza. GoFundMe link: gofundme.com/healing-israel.

13 new Sidhas will complete their Flying Block in August

We look forward to a Flying block with 13 course participants coordinated with our summer International world Peace Assembly in Jerusalem.

32 Sidhas took the TM Sidhis refresher course in May.

There is a big impulse to encourage all Sidhas to fly in groups, especially those who took the course last year.

We have one new TTC applicant doing his home study for the course this fall.

International World Peace Assembly in Jerusalem, Israel, 1 to 15 August.
It is our joy to invite you to join two weeks of International World Peace Assembly in Jerusalem, Israel, 1 to 15 August. The course is conducted with the blessings of Maharaja, Dr. Tony Nader.

All meetings and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi programme including Yogic Flying will be held at the Hebrew University campus and accommodation at the luxurious Dan Jerusalem Hotel. Both sit on the historic slopes of Mount Scopus, overlooking the famous Jerusalem skyline and the rolling Judean Hills. This photograph came out some time ago but symbolises the hope that so many people in the world have of experiencing as a daily reality what Maharishi said: ‘Unity in diversity’ – each culture rising to it’s fullest expression yet working completely in harmony with each other. News from Raja Bernard and MoD Terry Nevas

• PTSD research is ongoing in Israel through the generosity of the David Lynch Foundation. Many people are involved in the project and now 50–60 more people will be taught TM for the next stage of the project. The results up to now have been very promising!
• Advanced Techniques continue to be offered every month
• The first phase of a TM-Sidhi Course will start in May followed by a TM-Sidhi refresher course. The Yogic Flying part of the course will coincide in August wit a two-week WPA.
• A Maharishi AyurVeda Course is being offered in Hebrew to the participants of the government funded health education project participants in Maghar.

TM AND AYURVEDA PROJECTS
A project of teaching Transcendental Meditation to ladies in the Arab town of Maghar in the north of Israel has started and so far, 16 ladies have learnt. This project is part of a government funded health education program. As required by the project, the course participants will also receive some knowledge of Ayurveda to implement for themselves and their families.

It’s a great joy to see the wonderful response of the ladies to their TM practice. They are very happy with the results and very appreciative of TM. The plan is to extend this project by applying to more such government programs and to also approach philanthropists who contribute to Arab Jews projects.

Israel: Advanced Teachers in Maharishi’s technologies

Raja Bernie and MoD Terry are putting full attention on boosting coherence, progress, and harmony in Israel. They are happy to report the following:
• ARO Ambassador Dorit Goldschmidt, recently graduated from a beautiful course in MERU Holland as an Advanced Techniques teacher.
• Alex Kutai has completed the refresher for Advanced Technique teachers.
• The National Director of Israel, Eylon Meroz, is currently on an AMVSC course.

Great steps to help expand groups and help spread Maharishi’s Knowledge. We wish them abundant success and look forward to the next updates!

Calls with Mother Divine strengthen ladies
After the Israeli sidhis course this year we started joining calls with Mother Divine. These Matti Mandala calls are translated making it easier for our ladies to join.

GOOD NEWS FROM ISRAEL
In 2014 Israeli women established an organisation called Women for Peace. It has been constantly growing since 2014. It has by now 45,000 registered members including Jews and Arabs. About 15% men have also joined in. It is primarily a Women’s Organization in Israel to unite Israelis and Palestinians. Visit the website of Women for Peace

 

Sankalp for Israel: Coherence and Peace for the Middle East

• Our plans for the coming year are to teach many students and faculty members in Tel Hai and create a students’ club to bring them to meditate together and later on we hope to create a group of Yogic Flyers to create peace in the ME.
• Many efforts are being done to promote the teaching of TM, including translation of books and a PR campaign.

Report from Dorit Goldschmidt

MIU – Tel Hai College Collaboration
Early this year a project started to introduce TM and CBE to the Tel Hai College located on the border with Lebanon and Syria. About 5000 students of all religions – Jews, Moslems, Christian-Arabs and Druz are studying in the college. This project is highly supported by the college administration and the students’ association.

One of Tel Hai’s leading lecturers, Dr Ofra Walter, who was the 1st to learn TM, had a very successful visit to MIU where she met with many of the senior faculty members.

Following the visit, a comprehensive academic cooperation agreement was signed between MIU and Tel Hai, for joint research, online lectures and the exchange of knowledge, and visits by students and lecturers, etc.
Dr Walter has already set the way to conduct research on about 100 meditating students in collaboration with Haifa University and MIU.

She is enthusiastically promoting the collaboration between the 2 institutes, and the teaching of TM to the students. Her desire is to join the next TM Sidhi course in Israel and has already expressed her wish to do TTC.

TM-Sidhis Course and National Yagyas

• Recently 36 new Sidhas completed the TM Sidhi course successfully. They are a great force of Sattva and coherence for Israel and the ME.
• Regular National Yagyas are being done for Israel every month to create coherence and protect against negativity.

Report from Terry Nevas MoD

• TM-Sidhis course is just finishing in Israel this week with 39 new Sidhas. The graduation will take place on Monday 27 June.
• Israel is renting a space in Tel-Aviv near the TM centre for the Sidhas to do their program together. This is a great new development!
• Raja Bernie and Mother of Domain Terry had a calls with the TM-Sidhis course group and also the WPA ladies separately yesterday. Very inspiring.
• More good news! Israel will also set up a program location in Haifa!
• Knowledge Day plans: The new TM-Sidhis course graduates and the Sidhas from the WPA are excited about meeting together for Knowledge Days and Matri Mandala calls to gain more knowledge and experience, to create a more cohesive TM community, and to explore ways to expand our programs for women in Israel.

MIU – Tel Hai College collaboration
We are happy to inform of the signing of a memorandum of understanding for a collaboration between MIU and Tel Hai College. Projects being considered are a joint course on Physiology and Consciousness and a joint research project. Also this week was the kick-off of a campaign to teach Tel Hai students TM at a substantial discount.

The overall goal of this initiative is to create a 500+ strong group of Yogic Flyers in the northeast corner of Israel near the borders of Lebanon and Syria, closer to Beirut and Damascus than to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Possible research and faculty exchange with MIU
There is an important project coming up to teach TM in a College located on the border with Lebanon.

An enthusiastic faculty member who recently learnt TM and wants to learn the TM-Sidhis visited MIU to discuss collaboration between the two academic institutes which will include exchange of courses and lecturers, and research collaboration. They are also promoting research on TM with other universities in Israel.

TM Activities

• We now have 40 people signed up for the TM-Sidhis course scheduled for April.
• We are beginning to teach TM to students at Tel Hai College (they have 5000 students), which is close to the border of Lebanon and Syria. Students will do marketing and social media to promote TM. There will be research on TM in collaboration with MIU and Haifa University.



• There is also an institute in the same area for research on resiliency and PTSD that wants TM offered to 50 staff members and then to clients.
• The Mayor of an Arab village in this northern Galilee area was instructed this week and has approved a proposal to teach TM to as many Arab women as possible funded by the health ministry. The goal is to create a big group for Israel and the Middle East.

Good news towards regional harmony

Relationships with Turkey are improving. Recently President Erdogan of Turkey invited the Israeli President Hertzog to make an official visit after many years of tense relationships between the two countries. Additionally, an important new channel of communication was opened between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Erdogan. Bennet “sends messages” and “has positive attitudes” the Turkish President said recently.

The positive warmth towards Israel is part of a Turkish regional move to restore international relations. Turkey is also creating closer ties to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Armenia, Greece, and Saudi Arabia. With the UAE, it has already signed huge economic agreements and there have even been hints of future joint projects with Israel.

Relations with Jordan are also improving. After many years of disconnection between Israel and Jordan, relationships are rapidly improving with separate visits of the Israeli Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and President, discussing the different issues between the two countries.

‘Israel is hopping with good news these days’
We inspired our teachers to start becoming more active in the north near the border of Syria and Lebanon. The goal is to teach as many people as possible as quickly as possible with the long-term goal of creating groups.

They are beginning to teach at the Tel Hai college right away. The college (Tel Hai) is also interested in working with MIU. A professor there is going to travel to the USA next year and visit MIU. She also is going to speak with Dr Fred Travis about doing a research project with her Masters degree students.

Meditator activity has also been increasing: More advanced techniques, more applications for the Sidhis course, and more retreats as well.

Recertification course

• Four TM Teachers have just completed their recent Governor Recertification Course.
• Three active teachers also audited / attended this very powerful and strengthening course.
• All enjoyed tremendously and feel that every TM teacher should have the opportunity to take this refresher every few years.

We are looking forward to more expansion in Israel

• Israel is about to complete (mid Nov) a recertification course for four very enthusiastic TM teachers.
• Progress is being made translating Maharaja’s book and Book Clubs will be starting soon.
• TM Connect is coming to Israel
• Daily group meditations connecting mediators around Israel are modelled after what Bob Roth is doing in the USA.
• A renewed effort to create a group in northern Israel close to the Lebanese and Syrian border is in planning stages. The first step, which is to teach students in colleges close to the border, will begin as soon as possible.

Israel’s new Government, in spite of being composed of the most extreme sides of Israel’s political parties, has introduced a new culture of more thoughtful discussions and cooperation due to which, there is a feeling of a more settled atmosphere in the country.

Increasing Initiations

• Increasing groups of Yogic flyers for national coherence It is excellent news that Israel is planning a number of TM-Sidhi courses in the next month and thereafter.
• Tele summit in Israel Dr. Tony Nader, medical doctor, neuroscientist, and author of ‘One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness’, spoke during aTele summit with Janet Attwood and other people in the transformational and business communities.

• Our dear Alex Kutai has taught 140 advanced techniques since being made an advanced technique teacher a few years ago.
• He has 24 people ready to get the TM-Sidhis.
• The translation of Maharaja’s new book is being organized.
• He is organizing a TM-Sidhis course that will hopefully be able to happen in July.
• A refresher/recertification course is being planned for June.

There is excellent work going on in Israel right now!

• A new website is being created with a plan to translate and add many of the great talks from last year by our international leaders and experts.
• A new marketing plan has been created and is being used.
• The translation of Maharaja’s new book is being organized.
• Our translators are eagerly waiting for the right time to continue working on the TM App
• Two presently inactive Governors are going to be recertified.
• TM instructions and Advanced Techniques are increasing again and moving gradually back up to where they were before the pandemic.
• ‘In person’ weekend retreats are beginning again.

In 2020 Bahrain, UAE, Morocco, and Sudan established full diplomatic relations with Israel. A VERY encouraging trend to continue in 2021!

We are wishing that this year be the year that we establish a vast coherence-creating group in Israel that will be big enough to help bring Peace to the entire Middle East!

NEW TM TEACHING APP TO BE TRANSLATED INTO HEBREW

Despite the lockdown, Israel taught 34 in November plus 13 advanced techniques.

Our first Digital Course (in English) was taught in November and we are looking forward to teaching in Hebrew, with six translators ready to work on the project since we are in the first batch of countries approved to translate the Digital Course.

BOOKS IN MOTHER TONGUE
Israel is using the latest lockdown to revise the Hebrew translation of the Science of Being to align with the latest edition. They plan to issue it as an e-book first. They are also working on finishing a Hebrew translation of Maharishi’s translation and commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, bringing to their people the ageless wisdom of enlightenment for fulfilment in life. This is the full expression of unbounded creative spirit!

Israel’s national coherence is increasing such that they are taking even more active steps to increase initiations, strengthen their Governors, and expand the TM movement. Israel has submitted names of Governors ready for approval to translate the TM App into Hebrew. This is a precious new step to open the doors of expansion at this time!

• We are doing our best to keep some level of activity – we taught almost 50 people last month in spite of everything.

March 2020 New approach to establish a permanent Super Radiance group

GOOD NEWS FROM MOTHER OF DOMAIN TERRY PLUS RAJA KINGSLEY AND LESLIE BROOKS

• The Israel TM Teacher Team has launched a renewed effort to establish a Permanent Super Radiance group for Israel and Palestine. The strategy is to inspire as many Kibbutzim (community settlements) as needed to create 400 Sidhas to be part of this project to create permanent peace in the Middle East. A group of well wishers from Fairfield, Iowa, are helping with this project and approaching USA and Israel Foundations to raise the needed $350,000.
• Ongoing Activities: Research on TM and ADHD at Sheba Medical Center is continuing as well as research on the effects of TM in PTSD for Israeli veterans.
• Israel´s weekend retreats are featuring prominent US speakers to address Israel TM Meditators.

“Israel is very focused to find out all those who are still meditating. A highly effective approach is getting people in for TM checking and improving the TM retreats so that many more people have good experiences and come back to their TM practise. We are also promoting Advanced Techniques with the intention to have a TM Sidhi course by the end of the year and create at least two new TM teachers. And we are working with our diaspora (spread of people away from homeland) group to increase the size and duration of our National Yagyas for Israel… Something good seems to be brewing with our Invincibility group but it is too early to talk about it yet.” Terry Nevas

Madonna at the 2019 Eurovision song contest
Singer Madonna made an apparent call for peace during her performance at the Eurovision in Tel Aviv on 18 May. In their lyrics she and guest star Quave sang: “Not everyone is coming to the future, not everyone is learning from the past.” And the performance ended with Madonna whispering the words “wake up”. Note from BSF: We have a neutral attitude to any such events – but at least this is a sign of rising alertness/consciousness as predicted in the Jyotish.

April 2019 Progress on Research and TM – Israel will join Expo 2020 Alex Kutai, National Director reports:

• Research on TM and PTSD is held in Israel at Rambam Medical Centre in Haifa. First phase of the research which was a pilot case with 7 veterans came out with excellent results. Second phase with 20 patients will start soon.
• Another study on TM and ADHD will start in the fall with 60 kids of a middle school. This study is held at Sheba Medical Centre.
• TM Centre Initiations increase: Tel-Aviv TM Centre has moved to a new place in centre of the city. Number of initiations per month is now between 70 to 80 in entire country. 70 CPs have received Advance Techniques last month from Mr and Mrs Nandimandalam.

• Israel says it will join 2020 World Expo in Dubai: Israel’s Foreign Ministry says Israel will participate in next year’s World Expo hosted by the United Arab Emirates, in another sign of warming relations with Gulf Arab states. The ministry said Thursday it “looks forward to sharing our innovative spirit and advances” in such fields as water, information and medical technologies at the 2020 Expo in Dubai.
