What is Yagya?
Yagya is a time-honoured and effective Vedic technology for the prevention of problems as well as the increase of success and good fortune on every level. The tradition of Vedic chanting has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
What is special about Maharishi Yagya?
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi dedicated many years to the careful, systematic revival of Yagya, restoring this ancient technology to its full power. He revived the crucial understanding that Vedic Mantras should be projected from awareness grounded in the Transcendental level of speech, where the link between sound and form – between desire and fulfillment of desire – is intimately connected and enormously powerful. Maharishi defined two aspects as essential for the proper practice of Vedic Yagya:
First, through their daily practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi programme, Maharishi Vedic Pandits experience profoundly settled states of awareness. The result is enlivenment of the Transcendent source of speech prior to the recitation and performance of Yagya. Consequently the Maharishi Vedic Pandits perform Yagyas from this very settled level of consciousness and engage deeper levels of natural law.
Second, Maharishi Vedic Pandits must undergo unique and comprehensive training. Over several decades Maharishi worked closely with the most revered Master Pandits from across India in order to refine and institute the perfect education of Vedic Pandits. This education ensures that they learn the proper practice and pronunciation in its full traditional effectiveness.
