TM activities update from Dr Ashok Kumar and Dr Bori Bai
- We have had many new initiations
- New TM Sidhi course with young professionals: autism specialists, wellness specialists, creative directors, department heads, bankers and a film director and producer.
- We also have a new Yogic Flying group
- Regular group TM at different cities, towns and villages in Pakistan.
- Dr Ashok Kumar and Dr Bori Bai share many beautiful photographs with us!

National World Peace Assembly
We are very happy to share news about our global peace assembly with 30 sidhas flying together in one place. This took place for the first time in Pakistan on 6 February 2022!

TM-Sidhis
The first ladies’ group has been taught Yogic Flying and fly together in a group now! Additionally, people continuing to learn TM-Sidhis, and interest in becoming Yogic Flyers is increasing. The Yogic Flyers invite other Sidhas to their homes for group flying. We are also continuing regular online group meditation every night!
Initiations are expanding nation-wide
From villages to other rural areas, day by day, people are taking an interest in TM, and even illiterate men and women are coming to learn. And medical doctors are now recommending TM to their patients.
TM for professionals
We recently taught TM to an IT company – all their software engineers and experts. We have also taught various entrepreneurs, corporate sector trainers, and reiki experts.
Winds for change
Now that TM is being promoted more, we have regular courses even in remote areas. We will see a great positive change, which will increase peace and harmony and make this an area of permanent peace, Insha’Allah (God willing).

CONSOLIDATING MAHARISHI’S KNOWLEDGE
Dr Ashok Kumar, National Director of Pakistan and Bhori Bai, (both TM Sidhi Administrators and Ambassadors) plus the two active teachers in Pakistan are continuing to create coherence in the region in between lockdowns and various levels of SOPs.
“The year began with a relaxation of restrictions which saw us travel to the city to Lahore, resulting in one of Pakistan’s top female model, as well as Pakistan’s top fashion designer and actor (currently on a major network drama) learning Transcendental Meditation, along with many other members of their family and staff.”
“Around 30 have been instructed in TM since then, including many young students of universities and colleges, from medical, engineering, business, and computer sciences.”
“One of our main priorities is creating Sidhas, and nearly 100 Meditators are waiting to complete their TM-Sidhi instructions as soon as the situation allows for a flying block. We are also regularly conducting follow-up meetings over Zoom so as to keep experiences steady and inspire more Sidhas.”
“This includes weekly group meditations connecting the Meditators in the capital city of Islamabad and Sindh who enjoy never-before played tapes of Maharishi, with everyone enjoying waves of deep bliss from the connection on the level of consciousness to each other and Maharishi.”
“This year also sees us preparing two new TM teachers for TTC; the daughter of the National Director who is a young college student that displays great reverence to Maharishi, and a Sidha from Islamabad, both of whom have been volunteering with us for a long time. They are deeply devoted to the Knowledge and are currently taking the SCI course as well as enjoying other Maharishi’s programs, books, and tapes.”
“We want that under Maharishi’s grace and Raja Raam’s guidance they may reach even more Meditators and Sidhas, give out Knowledge courses, and inspire people to become teachers and implement plans for all of Pakistan to radiate in bliss. We are seeing so much of the effects of the Knowledge already with increased harmony with our neighbouring countries and peace talks, cease-fire and truces accelerating in the field of Indo-Pak relations.”

- We have had a course in Islamabad with students and startup managers from the top-ranked university of Pakistan. These include a WHO representative based in Geneva but working on a project here, and many others from fields such as finance, real estate, and so on.
- Regular online group meditation and knowledge meetings with very keen participants.
- A course in Lahore to teach one of Pakistan and India’s leading superstars – a singer, musician, actor, writer, producer, whose wife and children also learnt, as well as a whole group of industry and family friends whom he hosted at his house for the TM course. Another family was taught as well in the same city.
- Prior to this we had been traveling to Tharparkar, a desert area in Pakistan which is ranked lowest on the Human Development Index, running courses with up to 45 participants, all socially distant with proper Standard operating procedures – without that the number would have been much higher!
Our work in both these urban cities and the remote village areas has been restarted as of August and we aim to continue it, with teaching now resuming in Karachi. In addition to this, 40 Sidhas are flying regularly!

“We have a beautiful report of initiating 40 people in TM last month and we have 45 meditators including students taking the TM-Sidhi program. Nearly 35 ladies are ready for the flying block in residence in few days. This will be the first flying group of young ladies in Pakistan. Thank you very much for your great support!”
October 2019 Mr and Mrs Ashok and Bori Bai Kumar National Directors and TM-Sidhi Administrators report below. A number of students have been taught Transcendental Meditation at Pakistan’s top National University called NUST.

April 2019 School Projects’ ‘Air-Conditioning’ affects the entire region TM-Sidhi Administrators Drs. Ashok and Gauri Kumar report
- Pakistan school projects are moving along nicely. It is the first time that Transcendental Meditation programmes have been successfully introduced in schools in Pakistan and now we are building up Coherence through regular group meditation and the start of the TM-Sidhi programme in schools.
- Mrs Kumar, Gauri (Bhori Bai) on satellite TV channel. ‘TM is essential for Ladies in Pakistan’ It is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a lady TM teacher was interviewed on satellite TV channel. Bhori Bal gave an excellent presentation on how TM is very beneficial for ladies (and everyone) to reduce stress from any psychological and physical challenges.
