GOOD NEWS FROM LEBANON

• Good interviews on on-line TV stations about the 10000 for World Peace and Maharaja’s letter to President Biden.
• Lebanese Sidha, Malek Hosni, was nominated at BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts). He always credits TM and the TM Sidhi Programme for his increased creativity and widening of interest in different subjects.
• Lebanese designer, Nada Debs, received an international award for design. She states, ‘My work is driven by a belief in the power of design to cross time and borders and touch us on a primal level.’

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• The Rural Woman’s project has taught more than 1000 women, going beyond the goal of 1000, one per cent of the county of the Chouf. There is ongoing scientific research, directed by scientists at MIU to study the effect of increased coherence in the area.
• One-day retreats every Saturday in the Chouf county.
• Zoom meetings with the Sidhas and prospective Sidhas.
• Plans for another Centre Invincibility Course.
• Preparations for about 50 participants in the 10000 for World Peace.
• As always, we enjoy amazing experiences and understanding of the knowledge during the Bhagavad Gita evenings with Raja Bright, uniting many countries of Time Zone 3.

• A current art show named “Finding calm in chaos” is a beautiful symbol of what all our Meditators, Sidhas, and TM Teachers search for and find.

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• September events in harmonious Chouf TM Centre: a preparatory meeting for the next TM-Sidhi Course, a meeting with the Sidhas of the last TM Sidhi Courses.
• Thanks to suddenly incoming funds from multiple directions, three wonderful participants are set for their Teacher Training Course, accompanied by a Lebanese TM teacher.
• A brave and blissful young man joined Purusha in Java.
• Online courses continue to inspire, either provided by our National Directors, Raja Peter, or Raja Bright.
• Initiations continue in most centres, in spite of the summer heat and challenging economic conditions.

• Holiday homes, hotels, restaurants, and shops are all booming with Lebanese from abroad visiting thus giving a boost to economy and morale in the country.
• Laying of the foundation stone of the Peace Palace on 6 June. And constructing above ground having completed the two basements.

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• We have successfully found a school to rent for creating a Maharishi Consciousness-based Education School.
• A World Peace Assembly with 33 course participants was held over Guru Purnima.

GOOD NEWS FROM LEBANON

• During the TM-Sidhi course the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Lebanese pound suddenly stabilised after an endless run of inflation. Secondly, the disturbances on our southern border suddenly stopped as the course began. Thirdly, there was a rise in initiations in two of our TM Centres at that time.
• The Lebanese Peace Palace received another donation. The Foundation Stone Ceremony is to take place this month with the Sankalpa. This is very exciting! More donations will follow.

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• It’s a joy to announce the completion of a TM-Sidhi Course on 22 April with 32 participants. Sixteen were on the flying block, and all successfully lifted off like butterflies for the ladies, and great eagles for the men.
• Teacher Training: We have three candidates just beginning Home-learning.
• The Friday evening Zoom Knowledge meetings and the Tuesday evening Bhagavad Gita course both continue in joy and bliss.
• The Rural Women’s Project is nearly complete with less than 50 initiations needed to reach the target of 1000, the square root of one province’s population. The project will be extended to allow for the completion of a significant scientific study on the benefits of TM among these rural ladies. /li>

GOOD NEWS FROM LEBANON
Purification and accountability. Recently there have been some signs that politicians and other personalities might be held accountable for great wrongdoings.

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• A TM-Sidhi course will start this week with 40 participants. Many are receiving sponsored scholarships and a GoFundMe campaign has been created to help finance the project.

• Advanced Techniques will also be starting soon.
• Two Teacher Training candidates are beginning SCI next week.

• The reading of Maharaja’s Ved and Vedic Literature in Human Physiology is planned for May. Translations are presently being prepared.

COHERENCE CREATION

• A new TM Centre has opened in the Chouf, the province which is growing towards having one per cent of its population meditating, as well as a growing community of Sidhas. A one-day retreat was held in this new centre to celebrate the opening and another retreat is being organized.

GOOD NEWS FROM LEBANON
Despite the challenging economic situation, Lebanese emigrants and expatriates are helping to sustain the country from total collapse. For example, dozens of new restaurants have been bought and opened up in these last two months, giving employment to hundreds and moving the economy in many ways.

COURSES AND KNOWLEDGE

• Preparations are in progress for a large TM Sidhi Course to start at the end of January.
• December ended with 15 school teachers of a third school in the region happily learning TM.
• Our Chouf Centre had a great meeting with Dr Susie Dillbeck. About 21 participants attended and were greatly inspired.

COHERENCE CREATION

• The Rural Women’s project continues towards completion and creating greater and greater circles of coherence in the region. An overflow of this effect is that a similar project has quietly begun in the adjacent province.
• There are many NGOs that also sustain the economy, provide food, clothing and employment to the country’s needy population. One particular NGO run by a Meditator reports great success in the transformation of the life of the young men and women they look after! We hope to add TM to the various NGOs whose modalities are to raise the moral and earning abilities of the young.
• The best news is that we have a new ARO Ambassador picking up and continuing Salim’s amazing work, under the guidance of our sublime International ARO team.

Lebanon has a new graduate from the TMSA course in Chanthaburi

Coherence

• A one-day Refresher TMS Course was given to governors on 12 November with Raja Omar blessing the meeting. All mentioned more clarity in their TM-Sidhi practice and that they enjoyed the bliss and deep knowledge offered by Maharishi.
• A third new school project started with the instruction of the headmistress and her close associates into Transcendental Meditation.

In Memory of Salim Haddad
Love, compassion, and support flowed from all directions nationally and internationally to the family of our dear Salim Haddad, one of our National Directors and a faithful ARO member, when he melted into the one unbounded ocean of consciousness recently.

Many of the Governors of Lebanon offered to step in and fulfil his multiple duties.

Trends

• Two top politicians have recently made speeches of moderation, unity of purpose and asking for national integrity. This is a sweet move forward; may others join suit.
• A widening interest in Transcendental Meditation is appearing in institutions and schools who approach us for Introductory Lectures.

Coherence
An in-centre Sidhi Course of 42 participants has been held over the past weeks. The Flying block will begin with about 28 candidates in a few days. A candidate for the TM Sidhi Administrator Course arrived on location to start the Course on 7 September.

Knowledge Courses

• The Consciousness Consultant course ended phase 3 with about seven eager and well-trained candidates. All are expecting to join phase 4 soon.
• The ME Bhagavad Gita evenings with Raja Bright continue with deepening experiences and finer and finer understanding of the knowledge.

Gratitude to the donors

The country is challenged, but through Yoga and Yagya, it will rise again like the phoenix it has always been compared to. And this thanks to the very generous and enlightened support of the donors to the Middle East Yagyas! All glory to them, all glory to Guru Dev.

National Coherence
New students are all having more and more refined experiences when they begin TM. This is a truly amazing move of Consciousness exploring and discovering its own nature in Dr Nader s terms.

Two new Governors and plans for expansion
Two divine young women return from TTC to further stir collective consciousness.
With them and all other governors, plans for more CBE schools are being formed to reinforce the effect of the two schools which are now fully meditating in the province of the Chouf and another neighboring province, where nearly 1% of the population is practicing TM.

WPA & TM-Sidhi Courses

• A beautiful World Peace Assembly of 30 participants was held over Guru Purnima
• A large TM-Sidhi Course is to be held very soon
• A WPA is under preparation to be held on Guru Purnima from 11 to 14 July.

Knowledge courses

• The Bhagavad Gita course is diving deeper and deeper into the understanding that All is Consciousness, with very refined questions and comments.
• The Consciousness Advisor course is also bringing out more and more understanding of the “Ocean in a Drop” and the great field of knowledge it implies.

Sankalp for Lebanon
Hopes are high for finding the funding for the Peace Palace – and that is our greatest sankalp along with one to form a permanent coherence creating group through a school or any large group that comes forth.

Ongoing Projects

• The Rural women’s project continues to grow, creating a spill-over to the East where the whole school is meditating with 78 students and 23 teachers. Also, to the West another project has just begun as a result of the growing coherence in the region.
• The online group program is enjoyed by 120-150 Sidhas and 40 Meditators in a beautiful Virtual Program Hall.

TTC, Sidhi Courses, and WPAs

Our new Sidhi Administrator is structuring 2 groups of potential sidhas for a course mid-July.

Two new weekly meetings have been started upon the return of Salim Haddad from TM Sidhi Administrator course: one meeting for new meditators and the other for sidhas to discuss their experiences.

Two ladies will return as TM Teachers following graduation from the Thailand TTC.Two ladies will return as TM Teachers following graduation from the Thailand TTC.

One-day retreats are becoming a regular monthly activity in the centers of Lebanon.

A WPA is under preparation to be held on Guru Purnima from 11 to 14 July.

Knowledge courses

• There are a good number of Governors on the Consciousness Advisor Course.
• Over 50 delighted meditators, sidhas and non-meditators enjoyed Maharishi Marma Therapy offered by Dr Rohit Bartake. This set off a beautiful process of self-healing in all.
• The weekly sessions of reading of the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 1 to 6, continue with 100 participants.
• Daily Advanced Lectures meetings continue to feed joy and Satva into the atmosphere.

National Yagyas
The Lebanese National Yagya Program is helping to stabilize the current situation. We thank our dear and generous donors, who support us by increasing the number of Yagyas per cycle. We wish for more donations- the benefits are many and here are some highlights from the news:

• More relaxed political situation and negotiations among the different parties.
• A parliament was elected with 10% of new young faces bring hope and waves of change.
• Some positive talks in relation with the exploration of gas and oil fields in the sea of Lebanon.
• One-day retreats are becoming a regular monthly activity in the centers of Lebanon.
• A WPA is under preparation to be held on Guru Purnima from 11 to 14 July.

• Our national elections for Parliament went smoothly, and some bright fresh faces have surfaced!
• Our great new Sidhi Administrator Salim returns home to initiate a 40 to 50 strong group of candidates we have prepared for him.
• Victory Day was celebrated in many centres.
• A one-day retreat for ladies was organised in three centres simultaneously with a presentation of knowledge and questions and answers by Raj Rajeshwari Rindi in the afternoon.
• Two other one-day retreats were also enjoyed in the mountains.
• Raja Steve gave a beautiful presentation on “The three pillars of Enlightenment” to the whole Time Zone 3.
• The Bhagavad Gita course with Raja Bright for TZ 3 continues, knowledge being absorbed, contemplated, and realised with glee!
• As Covid recedes, and the weather gets softer, the future looks brighter!

REPORT from Susan Hamsa – Mother of Domain

Lebanon has two ladies on TTC and a governor on the TMSA
The number of participants for our off-line TM Coherence group meditation (but with registration at a WhatsApp site), is growing and becoming quite popular as internet becomes more unstable.

The Rural Women’s project has reached 75% of its target which is 1% of the population of a province. We have a whole school is meditating there: 70 students and about 25 teachers. There are also two villages with nearly 1% of their population meditating and
we have plans to expand this project to another province and school.

On-line courses abound, with five Lebanese graduating from the latest Total Knowledge course. Several people have also enrolled in the Consciousness Adviser course and the Spiritual Development course with Dr. Bevan Morris.

The Lebanese elections are so far going smoothly with new faces and updated programmes offered and greater optimism is being expressed by many, especially meditators and sidhas.

In spite of the condition of the country good things are happening in some areas, for example, an exhibit of art works celebrating Women.

Lebanon is looking forwards to an improving situation with greater positivity, and gratefully thanks all national and foreign donors who participate in the National Yagya programme. Our donors allow us to participate regularly with National Yagyas for Lebanon and the Middle East.

Coherence

• Yoga and Yagya campaigns enliven regular participation with the Time Zone +3 daily online group meditation and the TM Sidhi programme.
• A small group from Lebanon are joining the World Peace Assembly in Romania.
• One-Day Retreats for Sidhas have been held at the Maharishi TM center in the mountain area.
• We are teaching TM to more people and preparing a new TM Sidhi Course for June this year.

Knowledge

• Many from Lebanon are already registered for the Consciousness Advisor Course to be given by Dr. Tony Nader.
• Weekly Bhagavad Gita meetings with Raja John Bright, organized by Raja Omar and MoD Susan Hamza, with the participation of a number of countries in the region, with simultaneous translation into Arabic and Turkish.
• A number of Sidhas from Lebanon participated in the Total Knowledge Course and the Upanishads Part Four course with Raja Peter Warburton.
• Frequent Advanced Lecture meetings with Maharishi’s tapes, with explanations and discussions held by the National Directors.

National coherence and experiences

• A Virtual Program Hall has been established with very attractive graphics giving the feeling of being together from the level of transcendence. The regional Daily Online Group TM and TM Sidhi programs is reaching 180 Sidhas who are joining ZOOM in the morning and the number is hitting 200 Sidhas in the evening. Also, Meditators who are joining their own beautifully designed Virtual Meditation Hall, number around 50 in both morning and the evening.
• Two governors held a one-day retreat for 15 participants in the mountains and another single-day retreat for eight ladies was also enjoyed in Beirut.
• A New TM-Sidhi course is in preparation. A weekly TM-Sidhi Prep Course is held for an increasing group of meditators.
• We have had wonderful experiences of PTSD candidates, affected by the Beirut port blast in August of 2020. They learnt TM recently and found they felt very stable when a few days ago they experienced a very traumatizing event recalling that of of the port blast in 2020.

Yagya effects on the national level

• The National Yagya Program for Lebanon is having more support to help recover from the unstable situation Lebanon finds itself in, especially as regards the economic situation. Thank you to our generous donors, whose support allows us to have 3 Yagyas per cycle. We wish more donations to come in, to be able to continue every cycle with the same number of Yagyas.
• A much greater number of people are realizing that to turn within is the only solution to all problems. Dr Nader’s Consciousness Campaign is reaching our little country! Even a renowned Lebanese astrologer is saying “go back to the Self”.
• A flurry of new NGOs is looking at educational and social problems in a new, more holistic light. We hope to join efforts and offer them Maharishi’s technologies of consciousness.
• There is amazing courage among young designers to create new ranges of clothes, furniture, etc., even in the prevailing economic conditions.

Knowledge courses

• Many Governors are applying to the Consciousness Consultant course with Dr. Tony Nader and a good number of Sidhas are interested as well.
• A good group from Lebanon is participating in the Maharishi Total Knowledge Course Part 4 with Raja Peter.
• The reading sessions of the Bhagavad Gita with Raja John Bright continue very successfully with more than 100 participants every week.
• The One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness book club gains more success, the weekly readings have the added joy of listening to the voice of Dr. Tony Nader.
• Around 50 participants are holding weekly meetings to review the main points of Dr. Tony Nader’s 14 lessons on Consciousness – a new Paradigm.
• Daily Advanced Lectures given by our National Directors enjoy Maharishi’s videos, and feed joy and Sattva into the atmosphere.
• Two ladies from Lebanon have joined the TM Teacher Training Course in Thailand which started on the 14th of February 2022.

• Saudi Arabia and Iran have decided to exchange Ambassadors again after a few years of estrangement
• The political party in Lebanon, Hisballah, that has been not cooperating to form a goverment for months with the Prime Minister, suddenly expresses willingness to cooperate.

Experience and theoretical knowledge

REPORT from Dr Salim Haddad – Ambassador for Lebanon
In this difficult phase transition, which the world is going through, and most difficult for Lebanon, we can say that, with the help of our TM family and the big help from those who support Lebanon, we are minimizing the negative impact on our country by directing our attention to Maharishi’s programs on both aspects: knowledge and experience. Our activities during this month included the following:

Direct experience:

• Regular daily online group TM meditation program
• Regular daily online group TM-Sidhi program
• Regular participant in the National Yagya for Lebanon and the Middle East Yagya
• Teaching the TM to more people and achieving good success in the PTSD project, as well as with the Rural Mountain Ladies Project.

Theoretical knowledge and courses

• Many from Lebanon, more than 60, participated in the new course with Dr. Tony Nader: “Consciousness a new paradigm”
• Weekly meetings to read Maharishi’s Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 1 to 6, with Raja John Bright, organized by Raja • Omar and MoD Susan Hamza, with the participation of a number of countries in the region, and simultaneous translation into Arabic and Turkish.
• Weekly meetings to read the Book of Dr. Tony Nader: One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness, with Arabic translation.
• Daily afternoon meetings to read Maharishi’s book: Science of Being and Art of Living, with Arabic translation.
• Weekly Advanced Lecture Meetings with Maharishi’s tapes, and explanations and discussions held by the National Directors.

PTSD conference brings in new meditators!

• The regional online group TM and TM Sidhi programs have around 135 participants in the morning and evening.
• The Rural Mountain Women project has happily reached its mid-point. The target is to teach TM to 1000 women in one area. We reached 500 new meditators in one province who are meditating to create coherence in their community.

Plans and inspiration unfold:

• Another TM-Sidhi course is in preparation! Weekly TM-Sidhi Prep courses are being held for a group of meditators and the numbers of those joining increase each week.
• A three-month World Peace Assembly is in preparation to create coherence and harmony in our country and the whole region. Our target is to have a permanent group of 100 Sidhas in one location.

Knowledge:

• The weekly Bhagavad Gita readings with Raja John Bright are going on very successfully.
• The One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness Book Club gains more success, with weekly reading sessions with Dr. Salim Haddad, and the added joy of meetings with Maharaja answering questions on his book.
• The Science of Being and Art of Living Book Club is meeting daily on ZOOM, offering profound knowledge for deeper experiences of higher states of consciousness.
• Daily Advanced Lectures meetings watching together Maharishi’s videos, conducted by our National Directors, continue to feed joy and satva into the atmosphere.

National Yagya support and appreciation:

• We participate regularly in every cycle of the National Yagya program with much needed support and donations from our TM Family at home and abroad.

The miracle is, we are still holding on to Lebanon in the face of dramatic challenges in the country. The courage and creativity is stunning, having always been a trait of the Lebanese, the present stress has not diminished it! A small example, (one among many), a start-up company is using discarded masks, cut up and integrated into cement to make bricks stronger and more resistant to cracking. This also prevents more waste in the environment.

As always, our infinite gratitude goes out to the sponsors of the ME and neighbouring countries Yagyas without whom we might not still be a country teaching and enjoying Maharishi’s Vedic Wisdom. May their blessings return a thousand-fold!

PTSD relief for Lebanon and David Lynch Foundation funding!

• In Lebanon we have just held a large conference on PTSD.
• Maharaja blessed us by being the key speaker and remained with us for questions.
• Dr Bob Roth followed with inspiring news from the US and elsewhere.
• Dr David Shapiro was our third guest speaker. He gave a great presentation about all the different situations and projects TM has been used in as a modality to alleviate PTSD.
• Two of our governors ended the conference with a brief intro and then prep for those who wanted it.
• About 170 attended the conference live, another about 50 online.
• 90 signed up that very evening to start straight away. They began learning on Sat 30th Oct. The project will run for 5 to 6 weeks and is generously funded by the DLF.

Knowledge in the air!
Our usual online courses and conferences with international guests continue with great success.
National coherence
Now, as per Maharaja’s wish, we are preparing to establish a PERMANENT COHERENCE CREATING GROUP OF 100 SIDHAS….for one to three months duration, with a minimum commitment of one month.
Plans and inspiration unfold:
This added coherence and the effect of our National Yagyas, and the gifted Middle East Yagyas has inspired governors who have not taught regularly for years. They now are searching for projects to participate in, for NGOs to approach and present them with Maharishi s knowledge, in the context of PTSD and beyond.

Excellent News!

• We have fifty-one newly graduated and dedicated enlightened Sidhas, with all gratitude to Maharaja, and warm appreciation to Nada Haidar, our Sidhi Administrator, and her team of helpers.
• To add even more coherence during the Sidhi’s flying block: We concurrently first had a small ladies WPA, enriched by knowledge sessions with our Raj Rajeswari.
• A large mixed WPA followed with a total of 108 Sidhas, a number desired by Maharaja who connected often with the Sidhi Course congratulating and encouraging them to always “be together and in bliss”.
• Plans and inspiration unfold: The Middle East Foundation of the SCI and the Ladies Foundation for Pure Knowledge are planning a big conference for the PTSD victims of the 4th of Aug 2020 blast with the assistance of many Lebanese NGOs (rallying and cooperating for the first time). There is also vital funding from DLF.
• All on-line courses and conferences by our great Rajas and Scientists, initiations, Jyotish consultations, etc, happily continue despite power and internet cuts, etc.

Significant signs of progress:
A new government was formed on the first day of the Sidhi course, after one year of only a provisional government! Not long after that, France and its allies declared they would be willing to assist Lebanon relieve its economic crisis, pending a few conditions. The inflation shown by the extreme rise in exchange rate of dollar/Lebanese pound has already slightly dropped.
Support and appreciation:
The tremendous support of the donors to the ME and surrounding countries for Big Yagyas nourishes collective consciousness and softens the “dangers that have not yet come”. Without these precious donors we would not be floating in bliss as we are, in the face of all the adversities around us. • Delightful news: 52 Rising Sidhas signed up for the Flying block of Sept 10 to 23. Hoping more will join to create a huge wave of national positivity!
• Knowledge: Bhagavad Gita course with Raja Bright, bimonthly meetings with great leaders including Dr Susie Dillbeck, and daily meetings for meditators and sidhas with the National Directors.
• SCI for children is immensely popular!
• One-day rounding course for Arabic speaking ladies throughout the Middle East was well attended. Heart-warming experiences and beautiful Q&A with top Raj Rajeshwaris.
• TM-teaching continues steadily. A growing number of influential people realizing the significance of transcending life’s whims and enjoying inner peace and happiness.
• Lebanese creative ingenuity booms despite these challenging times – designers, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs!

REPORT from Dr. Salim Haddad
Month after month, we continue to gather our family of meditators, and move forward to cross the difficulties our country is going through at this time. Despite the collapse at all the administrative levels and all different economic, banking, educational industry, trade, etc., sectors we are succeeding in advancing, and coherently protecting ourselves from what is going on around us. In this difficult phase transition, our TM Family, armed with Maharishi’s technologies, is able to pass through all challenges smoothly. When everything is collapsing around one, it is the light of knowledge that is giving strength.

One of our Zoom participants said:
“Because of our daily program, and the knowledge that you give us in the meetings, we are able to keep ourselves standing in this great collapse of Lebanon, I feel able to hold myself, compared with all my family members, my relatives, my friends, my neighbours. That is why I feel all gratitude to Maharishi for being able to overcome all this.”

In our culture there is a proverb which illustrates this: “In a very dark night, we know the value of the moon.”
Direct Experience – the practical aspect

• Participation in twice daily Super Radiance program Middle East and TZ +3, countries

• Teaching the Transcendental Meditation technique to more citizens.
• Preparing for the 14-day residential flying block for 75 Rising Sidhas from 10 to 24 September. Fund raising to cover the costly hotel accommodation.
• Sidhi Administrator Nada Haidar reports: Due to the critical situation, Dr. Tony Nader spoke with the 75 Rising Sidhas on zoom, encouraging all to join the flying block together. He also asked Sidhas and Governors to have a large WPA in parallel to help raise the collective consciousness of Lebanon.

• Once again, even before the ME Yagya starts, or is even thought of, a new Prime Minister was appointed a few days ago.
• A very important SCI course for children has begun. “Give the Knowledge to the children.” said Maharishi.
• The continuation of the Rural Women’s Development Project brings a greater number of meditators to the Chouf region every week in spite of a thousand obstacles.
• More than 100 participants are enjoying great joy and bliss with the continuation of our online courses, and meetings with our National Directors in Time Zone 3 and the rest of the Middle East.
• For all this and more, infinite gratitude to our supporters and donors without whom we certainly would not be evolving on all these levels in such a smooth and easy way. May their kindness and compassion be returned manyfold to them again and again, …Punah, Punah.

Upon the successful completion of the in-center section of the TM-Sidhi course for 75 rising Sidhas, Maharaja blessed them with a long meeting of knowledge with questions and answers. Wonderful to see Egypt’s National Director, Ambassador, and TMSA Nada Haidar actively present!
The Summer Celebration online ceremony featured a beautiful participation of renowned Lebanese meditating painters and designers, and sweet up-and-coming child-artists.
The three Druze political leaders usually at odds with each other had a big meeting to agree on major issues – a drop of coherence in the country?
As always, we feel infinite gratitude to our international family of supporters without whom we would perhaps have no good news to offer! Jai Guru Dev!

 
 
 

Secondly: Report from Dr Salim Haddad, Ambassador and National Director of Lebanon

It is really a joy to update all of you about our June activities in Lebanon! Something extremely good is happening among our TM family:

• The most important event this month is the successful completion of the in-center section of the TM-Sidhi course for 75 rising Sidhas who will take the Flying block very soon.
• More Sidhas and Meditators are joining the daily group super radiance program from other countries in Time Zone +3, such as Russia, Ukraine, and Armenia in addition to the large number of countries already participating.
• The SCI course with Dr. Bevan Morris and Dr. Ashley Deans is continuing, with four lessons left to complete it.
• The weekly Bhagavad Gita Course with Raja Bright is continuing for TZ 3 and the Middle East, with more than 108 participants. We are now in Chapter 2 Verse 45.



• Our bi-weekly meetings with our international guests continue successfully. The last two meetings were with Raja John Fagan on Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture, and Dr. Catherine Gorini, on Mathematics and Maharaja’s Mathematical Theory of Consciousness.
• “Reading Together”, our online meeting conducted by Dr. Salim Haddad for reading the new book of Dr. Tony Nader MARR, “One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness”, continues and we are now in the fifth part of Chapter 5.
• Reading meetings of “The Science of Being and Art of Living”, continue daily with Arabic translation. We are now starting part three of the book, in the section of the Art of Being.
• Lebanon participated strongly on Global TM Day the 20th of June.
• Online Advanced Lectures are continuing every week.



• More ladies from the mountain area are learning TM under the Rural Ladies development project.

• A Sidhi Course with 73 participants in 3 different locations started the same day as our National Yagya for Middle East! It is significant that our first Syrian Sidha is among them!
• There are many initiations in the region where our Rural Ladies Development Project is progressing, and the funds for its expansion flow effortlessly towards us.
• Other projects begin to take shape due to increased coherence and diminishing Covid numbers.
• There is relative peace reigning in Lebanon despite all the strain and stress, and there seems to be some optimism and hope for a solution to the formation of a government.

• Daily Group program is continuing regularly together with other countries in TZ 3 and the Middle East region.
• It is a real joy to start a big TM Sidhi course with 73 course participants. Administrated by TMSA Ms. Nada Haidar, this number will bring a good influence of positivity in the collective consciousness of the country.
• The SCI course with Dr. Bevan Morris and Dr. Ashley Deans is continuing, we have 24 participants from Lebanon.
• The Bhagavad Gita Course with Raja Bright is continuing for TZ 3 and the Middle East, with more than 108 participants every week.
• Our bi-weekly meetings with our International Guests are continuing successfully. The last two meetings were with Dr. Rohit Bartake and Raj Bjarne, respectively. Dr. Rohit’s inspiring talk was about Ayurveda in daily life, and Raja Bjarne talked beautifully about his experience in Maharishi Vastu.
• “Reading Together”, conducted by Dr. Salim Haddad, is a new online meeting to read the new book of Dr. Tony Nader MARR, “One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness”.
• Reading of “The Science of Being and Art of Living” is continuing in the daily meeting with Arabic translation. We are now starting part three of the book.
• Lebanon had a strong presence in Taste of Utopia 2.0 with more than 85 participants joining the online programs and meetings. There is a song in Arabic on the Taste of Utopia that attracted many listeners, even without knowing Arabic.
• Weekly Advanced Lectures online meetings are continuing regularly.
• More ladies from Rural Ladies development project in the mountain area are learning TM.
• The National Yagya program for Lebanon is forging ahead well despite of all the challenges of the economic situation in the country.

Resolution for Lebanon for 2021

• Our resolution for Lebanon is to: To raise the individual consciousness through regular practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi programs, and to increase the level of Maharishi’s Knowledge through regular Advanced Lecture meetings and Discussions, and residence courses or on-line retreats.
• To bring Peace to the Middle East and Time Zone +2 region through participation in the Super-Radiance programs, on both levels: Online and offline.
• To increase the number of National Yagyas in order to bring more positivity and more harmony and prosperity to the country as a whole.
• Expand the knowledge of Maharishi in Lebanon through projects that will encourage the largest number of population to participate in the Transcendental Meditation Program.

• Our first and foremost desire is to see Peace rising in the Middle East.
• Our National Yagyas and Middle East National Yagyas, may they increase to bring beautiful transformation.

• Schools and school camp coherence groups in Lebanon and Jordan: May this great initiative continue and become completely established.
• Rural Women’s Development Project: This recently started in one region of the Lebanon and may it expand to to reach 1% of the population of that region by Guru Purnima, and then to the rest of Lebanon.
• May the tremendous role of our four National Directors (giving online advanced lectures, Timezone 2 and ME meetings – daily and weekly) continue with even wider reach.

NEW TM CENTRE IN THE MOUNTAINS!

“In spite of Covid-19 and dire economic conditions we have had a grand opening of a new TM centre in the mountains. Our heroine Ghada Fakhredine managed 45 participants on site with social distancing and 50 online from various countries. Many top educators and heads of institutions were among the guests. Online offering of courses abound, one being The Bhagavad Gita Chapter 8 which is starting soon. The Bhagavad Gita Chapters 1 to 6, Reading and Commentary with Raja Bright continues to grow in strength and depth. Even-though we have been without a government again for over a month, no undue unrest has appeared. News update from Salim Haddad
We feel the drop in Yagyas, but are ever hopeful to rise up again. The big Yagyas directly after the explosion had a tremendously positive effect. Change, healing and hope brought signs of new positive directions for best administration, but this has more recently met with opposition. Clearly we need more Yagyas. The recent hugely polluting fire that broke out in the Port (only one month since the explosion) is now under control. This is good news, but it underscores the serious alert to continue supporting Lebanon at this delicate time.

STRENGTH AND DETERMINATION IN LEBANON
Salim explains that a sincere leader in Lebanon said “We sure have determination to stand up again from the disaster that we had a month ago, but the load is very big, it is beyond the capacity of our small country, Lebanon.”

We humbly appreciate your National Yagya support in any way possible as we continue with our activities to boost Yoga and Yagya.

From our side we are doing everything to help the country and its people: Regular programs and Yagyas, and especially another new big Yagya, to create calm and a feeling of positivity, even with all the unbearable and complex stress on the 300,000 displaced inhabitants of the destroyed area.

 

PEACE PALACE PLANS – A HUB TO BOOST COHERENCE


Raja Omar and Mother of the Domain Susan explain their plan to build the new Maharishi Peace Palace. It will be the first home for Pure Knowledge built in Lebanon according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda principles—Vedic Architecture in harmony with the laws of nature—which organize everything from the smallest sub-atomic particles to human physiology, the solar systems, and the whole universe thus maintaining balance, coherence and wholeness in the entire cosmos. Living and working in a building built according to these laws align individual intelligence with cosmic intelligence.

Building the first Maharishi Peace Palace is one of the most significant projects ever undertaken in Lebanon. Ambassador for Lebanon, Salim Haddad, gives a touching and impressive report

In our previous appeal to help Lebanon, a month ago, we were not expecting to have this huge terrible blast that brought mass destruction to a large area of Beirut with a large number killed, many injuries, and extensive material damage.

The great heartfelt support of our worldwide TM family, from the top level right to Meditators – from Maharaja to the Rajas, Prime Minister and Ministers, Mothers of Domain, Raj Rajeshwaris, National Directors, Governors and all the family of Sidhas and Meditators. It was very generous. With this great support, we feel very strong, we feel protected, we feel surrounded with waves of love. Being equipped with all this great support, we are determined to keep on carrying the torch of knowledge very high bringing light to ourselves, our families and our nations.

This great support on the TM Movement level was also reflected on the gross level where we see many countries from different parts of the world rushing forward to send all kinds of aid to poor afflicted Lebanon.

ACTIVITIES
In the entire region, the Lebanese Movement is participating in almost all the activities, working together with many countries of the Middle East and Time Zone +3 towards raising the level of consciousness of our nations. This list of activities is impressive and is expressive of our dedication:

• Twice Daily online Group Meditation, and Group TM-Sidhi Programme through ZOOM
• Weekly meetings with international guests from our TM Movement discussing the different aspects of Knowledge.
• Special Course on Maharishi’s Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita Chapter 1 to 6, with participants from several countries in the Middle East and Time Zone +3.
• Daily local Group Knowledge Meetings for Meditators and Sidhas.
• Preparation for a future regional TM-Sidhi Course with expectation to have 250 participants from many countries in the region.
• Regular participation in the National Yagya programme allowing the participants to act as instruments to bring positivity into the country.
• The situation in Lebanon is still critical, more support is needed. We are determined to bring harmony and coherence in the collective consciousness through the online practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi Programme, and through regular participation in the National Yagya programme.

Activities in our TM family

• Due to the brilliant idea of our National Director Salim Haddad, to give two choices for evening Coherence time (17:30 and 19:00), the number of participants for our Online Group Programme has jumped up significantly.
• As people begin to emerge from ‘shutdown’, requests for initiations are flowing in fast.
• The number of Initiates watching Maharaja s broadcasts continues to increase and the deep knowledge they hear opens up acute questioning and deeper understanding on all levels.



• Raja Dominique’s weekly meetings with Sidhas draws many participants, broadening their scope of understanding the mechanics of their practice and the deeper meaning of the integration of Silence and Dynamism in their lives.

On the political and social level signs of great purification are beginning to happen:

• Many people report they are becoming vegetarian, and/or they will not take up a hectic lifestyle any more.
• On the political level, legal activity against big scandals that have gone on for years, is beginning to be taken a great step forward.

Reflections on the current situation by Salim Haddad
It is really a joy to report about the expansion of the Middle East Online Group Meditation: Time Zone +3 Online TM and a TM Sidhi programme group, each connecting daily in the morning and evening. Other countries from East Europe and East Africa are joining the Middle East countries in daily Online Group program.
The number of participants has almost doubled since beginning. In the morning we have 120 participants, and in the evening we are reaching 175 participants in both groups together.

• During the Coronavirus lock down period, we in Lebanon use the time to be together with our TM-family. We are meeting through Social Media applications almost every day, watching knowledge tapes together. In addition, we are participating in the online meetings of Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Ram on Facebook and Instagram.



• Our TM groups are running a campaign to invite their family members and their friends who are not practicing the Transcendental Meditation yet, to join us in Silence. See the beautiful poster below.
• Our participation in the National Yagya program is continuing successfully, despite of the very difficult economic situation in Lebanon, we are still participating in every single Yagya Cycle. A great appreciation and many thanks to all our dedicated group of donors,
• The Health ministry and health sector in Lebanon succeeded in keeping the corona cases within a controllable number. Thousands of Lebanese living abroad feel safer to return to Lebanon, while thousands of foreigner who are living in Lebanon declare that they feel safer in Lebanon during the Corona and refused to go back to their countries (articles from International Press).
• Being aware of the present weak economic situation in the country and the limited capabilities of our Health System, we can say that with all these good activities, all positivity, and all the nature’s support are a result of our increased participation in the twice daily Online Group Programme and the National Yagya program. Through Yoga and Yagya, all good to everyone!

We are happy to update you about the Online Group Meditation on ZOOM for the Middle East countries. When we started, the number of participants were around 20 in the morning and 30 in the evening, now the number is more than double and everyday we have new meditators who are joining us! Now our numbers are around 40 participants in the morning and 80 participants in the evening!

March 2020 Gratitude for less violence



• On 19 Jan a Government was formed after months without one.
• For 20 Jan we had planned a International Conference, there were thoughts to cancel it but after thorough consultation we decided to go ahead and it was truly miraculous that we got a clearing of violence all of a sudden. It was a big success and it was followed up by greatly productive meetings with various officials and a great increase in initiations.

December 2019 Group meditations

GREAT RESULTS
Online Group Meditation on ZOOM is continuing very successfully. Many Participants report deeper experiences along with increased regularity in their program and improved their daily routine, making their day very smoothly and easy. The number of participants is increasing: In the morning more than 35 participants, and in the evening more than 50 participants. In addition to participants from Lebanon, we have participants from many countries in the region and abroad, such as Syria, Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar Palestine, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, France, Sweden, Nigeria, USA, Canada, etc.

MORE SIDHAS CREATING COHERENCE
In November, a group of 15 Meditators became Sidhas. Maharishi Vedic Experts from India came to Lebanon to conduct the TM-Sidhi course and also to give Advanced Techniques and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. Congratulations to the new Sidhas of Lebanon!

“It is an unexpected uprising. A spontaneous desire to change/purge/de-corrupt the governmental system. On the 1st day (Thursday) of the revolution there were alarming destructive elements, clashing, and trashing of property. Friday morning, I sent out a WhatsApp message to the entire meditating community urging all to meditate at the same time daily and to report in. In leading this group effort I am excited to say that over 100 people are confirming their participation. From that day forth the mood in the uprisings changed from destructive to a smooth celebratory constructive tone, wanting solutions, purity and new transparent systems. Demonstrations came out in all major cities in Lebanon, some reports say that the number exceeded 1.5 Million, out of a total population of 4 million people in Lebanon. In the second largest city, Tripoli over 40,000 went to the streets daily coming with their music systems and celebrating and dancing late into the night – saying ‘we want change for good’. This is happing for the first time in the history of Lebanon that such a large percentage of the population coming out all in one voice demanding for a clean and transparent government. This is like an awakening in the collective consciousness.”

“I was wondering… what is this Yagya programme? I was hesitant to participate, and do a financial contribution. I tried it for the first time. I followed the guidelines of the National Yagya during the 11 days in order to see the results. But it was really amazing, from the first day I naturally woke up early, I did a short meditation, and the whole day was a different day, as if something good is surrounding me, a feeling of great joy. Encouraging news on the economical level: Good support coming from Saudi Arabia and France, and the start execution of the CEDRE program made by several countries to support Lebanon with loans that will exceed 10 Billion Euro. This is expected to boost the economic situation in the country after a period of weakness.


 

On the level of TM activities in Lebanon:
We successfully completed a weekend residence course and WPA with 38 Meditators, Sidhas and Governors for two days, where we did 7 rounds of group program including the TM-Sidhi and Yogic Flying technique, the course took place in the beautiful mountains of Lebanon from 13 to 15 September 2019, it coincided with the beautiful full moon of September.


 

Consciousness Based Education Projects are progressing in a smooth manner, everything is stable and there are high expectations of good results.

Maharishi Vedic Experts Tour, is being prepared for and planned to be in October, to give TM-Sidhi Course, Advanced Techniques of the TM programme, and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology.

DEALING WITH REALITY

“I am searching and searching in the media to find some good news in the Middle East countries. I am looking in Lebanon, our neighbours, in Syria, Israel, West Bank & Gaza, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, in all these countries, I may find some little good news here and there, but they are not important, but what is heard very loud in all these countries are the drums of wars. The drums are very strong, and the sound is amplified many folds by the movement of the armies of USA and Europe, the army of Russia, the pressures of China. Everybody is here, the world is here ready to attack, ready to destroy the enemy. Journalists, reporters and analysts talking about scenarios of destroying this country, or that country, mass destruction, causalities, injuries, millions of refugees running in all directions. In all this mess, our small group has the means for Peace, but who is ready to hear the little voice? This reminds me of that story of Maharishi about the snake and rope, in that village! This is an urgent call to all lovers of peace, please come together to stop the madness. We know it is the madness of phase transition, but the phase transition will be smoother if we implement Maharishi’s Programmes, the technologies of peace, more powerfully, and through big Yagyas every month the situation will be calmed down more quickly and smoothly.

Salim Haddad reports on timely attention to boost coherence

• Daily TM-Sidhi group programme attendance is increasing especially on Thursdays and Saturdays – sometimes around 30 Sidhas doing their programme under one roof, they are creating a positive effect in our country.
• Regular National Yagyas: Our group of Governors, Sidhas and Meditators have a solid commitment to support the Maharishi Vedic Pandits and regularly participate in every single National Yagya Cycle. This determination comes from the remarkably positive effect gained for our country during all these years since the beginning of the National Yagya Campaign in 2011. It is strikingly apparent that much more need to be done now during this vulnerable time!
• “Together again” – 200 Sidhas join the World Peace Assembly (WPA) in May! Lebanon are already finalizing preparations for the 5-Day annual WPA to from 30 April until 5 May 2019. This is the third annual WPA with large numbers of Sidhas and Meditators.
• Consciousness-Based Education Programme progresses well. On 24 April 2019, TM Teacher Hayat Hassan conducted a Full Day of Knowledge at “La Cime” School who are preparing to apply for the CBE programme and was awarded a certificate of appreciation by a representative of the School (centre). Ten school teachers (left) who learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique attended the Full Day of Knowledge.


National economy that needs a powerful boost from Yagya

• Lebanon has been experiencing a more difficult economic situation for some months now. However these last few days, some signs of economic improvements are showing and should really be boosted immediately with National Yagyas.
• Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Tuesday 24 April 2019, said that Lebanese banks were ready to help the government but stressed that the cabinet should also carry out reforms. This indicates a shaking of hands for mutual progress. Hariri’s remarks came during the honouring of Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh by the Union of Arab Banks. The UAB named Salameh as the best central bank governor in the Arab countries.



• Increased attention from the ME Peace Committee to help boost Lebanon’s stability and strength in all areas. It is a delicate time right now and we are touched by Lebanon’s devoted efforts and progress in the midst of such delicate times.

January 2019 Raja Omar and Susan report on a coherence group in Beirut: A very simple, practical and promising formula, of how to create a permanent group in Beirut you can see in the video
prepared by our Lebanese team which spearheaded the permanent coherence creating group for Lebanon. This formula is inspired by the Red Cross volunteer service guaranteeing a permanent presence 24/24. It explains how a minimum of twenty daily participants in the scheme will work, whereby each participant will commit to one or two days per week and thus the permanent group of twenty will never be the same throughout the week but filled by a hundred or more volunteers each guaranteeing his or her own presence for two or more days! The facility was inaugurated last Sunday with a Puja by our governors as well as by Raja Antonio who gracefully joined via internet from Spain. It has a flying capacity for sixty persons split equally between the two genders and the aim is to have a minimum guaranteed number of at least twenty fliers twice every day of the week , every week of the year. There is hope that other countries in the region will be able to emulate the Lebanese example and create such permanent ongoing groups of their own. The next step would be to link those groups together via the internet and thus create a virtual dome of invincibility for the whole region and it could be the first of many such virtual domes throughout the world!

December 2018 Mother of Domain, Susan Hamsa comments on shifts in progress:
1. I am initiating an amazingly high quality of top level influential people
2. The number of participants on the Middle East coherence day was much greater than usual, over double as many as usual responded, either doing programme at home individually or in small groups at three or four TM Centres (also a record) at Coherence time.
3. Our focus is on creating permanent coherence groups in Lebanon so that Maharishi’s gift of Yoga and Yagya is firmly established, creating a heavenly life for all.

October 2018 National Director Salim Haddad, inspired in 2011 by our dear late Raja Lucien, started fundraising for Yagyas and since then it became a key project to help raising collective consciousness in Lebanon. 1. Recently Lebanon has achieved wonderful progress in Consciousness Based Education: ‘For a long time the Governors were trying to get a project started in Lebanon. Dr. Ashley Deans has visited different schools in Lebanon several times. Some initiations here and there but not much happened. A few months ago Dr. Deans met ten principles of different schools and eight were really interested and wanted to start right away. The other two are interested as well. Some of them started in the following days and weeks. In summer there was a gap, but now these projects will continue and even more schools and projects have come up. The National Yagyas in Lebanon are something that is working really well, people are inspired to participate and you can feel it there.‘

2. An exceptionally big WPA in April/May took place with more than 200 people (almost 200 Sidhas doing the programme together). A few days later there were national elections for a new Parliament for the country. The good news is that the new government came to an agreement that had not been possible before.
 

 

3. Next TM Retreat and WPA will be held from 5 to 7 October coinciding with the Ambassador Reception on Saturday 6 October.
4. In conclusion: ‘The National Yagyas are bringing something very good to the National Consciousness’ – you can feel that things are going in a very positive way. Many good things have happened in recent months!

November 2018 Dr. Ashley Deans reports on Consciousness based Education in Middle East: Schools in Lebanon are showing great interest in introducing Transcendental Meditation. In these four pictures you see in the upper left a delegation of teachers of Transcendental Meditation meeting with a School Director in Lebanon. On the right is a lecture to parents at a school outside Beirut. On the lower left are some of the Lebanese teachers and students at the same school practicing Transcendental Meditation and on the right pupils at meditation time (kids sharing laughter).



Several Arabic schools have also learned in the Middle East, as well as adult education classes in Palestine.
