- Many National Yagyas have been ordered.

KNOWLEDGE COURSES
Aysegül and Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu have just finished teaching an online 48 lesson Total Knowledge Course with great fulfilment for both course leaders and the participants. The 2-hour lessons were held three evenings every week during the past 4 months. There were 16 brilliant attendees from all over Türkiye (See Zoom pic below).

WORLD PEACE ASSEMBLY
Following the 10,000 for World Peace Course in India, Turkiye began an International WPA in Antalya on 4 February with 65 participants, to continue the influence of coherence to whatever extent possible for as long as possible. The WPA is continuing now in the Maharishi Peace Palace in Istanbul. It is scheduled through the end of April, with an option to extend. Click here for more info.
ADVANCED TECHNIQUES & KNOWLEDGE COURSES
- Aysegül and Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu in Antalya will be having an Advanced Techniques tour with 21 course participants and are presently leading a Total Knowledge course started with 17 course participants.
- Yusuf and Berna Canga will be teaching a Higher States of Consciousness course with 10 course participants.

CREATING COHERENCE
- We had a WPA with 30 people two months ago.
- Nearly 50 Sidhas from Türkiye will join the 10.000 for World Peace Assembly in Hyderabad and 10 Meditators will take the Yogic Flying course there.
- TM Advanced Techniques Tours that were planned and completed by the local AT Teachers Ayşegül & Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu during their first year of activity in different cities of Türkiye: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Istanbul (second time) done, and Ankara (second time) planned for 9-10 December 2023, Izmir (second time) planned for January 2024.
KNOWLEDGE COURSES
- Adana Governors Yusuf and Berna will offer the Higher States of Consciousness course.
- The Total Knowledge course will be given online by Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu for all Turkish Sidhas and Meditators starting from January 2024.
RESOLUTION AND APPRECIATION: Ayşegül & Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu
Greater interest and firm resolution for National Yagyas in our Turkish Movement, paving the road to National Invincibility and regional stability in the direction of world peace. Ongoing Maha Yagya contributions and other National Yagyas have already started to make a difference in the trends.

National campaigns: Generous donors have made it possible for Türkiye to have almost 100 National Yagyas over the last year! This is an incredible achievement, not only for Turkiye’s receiving the blessings of these Yagyas, but also for giving an impulse for greater coherence in world consciousness through the continuous support of the Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India.

EARTHQUAKE 108-ME CAMPAIGN – DEEP GRATITUDE TO OUR DEAR DONORS
Raja Paul and Susie Potter: On behalf of our family of Governors, Sidhas and Meditators of Türkiye, we give our heartfelt thanks for the generous support provided by so many countries at this challenging time. Your support for implementing Maharishi’s powerful technologies of Yoga and Yagya has brought huge relief to Türkiye and has strengthened our national resolve to establish a permanent coherence-creating group to make Türkiye truly invincible.

Türkiye is progressing and healing well after the earthquakes with the help of national and international attention.
We as teachers are focusing on our teaching activities. In Ankara:
- Monthly initiations increase (sometimes 10-12 per month)
- Advanced Techniques were given to 8 people during the Ankara course last February.
- Three other cities are waiting to take Advanced Techniques this Spring.
- In-centre group TM and TM-Sidhi programmes helped to soothe the atmosphere.
- We are resolved to create the first 1000 yogic flyers in Türkiye soon – and we won’t stop until we reach 10,000!

13th Century Turkish poet Yunus Emre resonates with Vedic Knowledge
Cihan Bakkalcıoğlu shares with us his beautiful presentation on the 13th century poet, mystic, and humanist Yunus Emre. The poem below ‘I am the Drop that contains the Ocean’ is a precious and clear expression of Unity Consciousness, resonating in terms which are so familiar for our world family of meditators.
All cultures have expressed Vedic knowledge in the past, and will do so to its fullest extent in the future due to all of our dear donor’s help in supporting the Maharishi Vedic Pandits and the Global Peace Initiative.

Ancient traditions unearthed and new official name
- Turkey began the move to change its internationally recognised official name in English to Türkiye in December.

Coherence
We had the traditional yearly National Summer WPA and Meditator’s Retreat with 22 course participants, from 28 Aug to 3 Sep 2022, just at the location that was mentioned in the above news, with 22 course participants. The significance of this course was to contribute to the coherence that has been created by the ongoing International WPA in Istanbul Peace Palace. Governors Yusuf and Berna Önal were also there and initiated some local people and gave Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems to the course participants.

- Turkey’s Creating A Perfect Man Course finalized successfully with a nice celebration, including an online interview with Mahmut and Nessima Görkey who were the first presenters of the course in Maharishi Channel, 22 years before. - That inspired by Turkey’s national online knowledge program, thousands of meditators could be trained as Sidhas in Istanbul’s Peace Palace; and rise to become Teachers of Transcendental Meditation
- The main Turkish Peace Palace will be surrounded by a Sidha community
- Turkey to build new Peace Palaces with Vastu communities in Ankara, Izmir, Adana, and Antalya
- That Turkey increases its National Yagyas to create an indomitable influence of peace for the whole Middle East.
Additionally we wish to have coherence-creating groups in schools or other institutions (business, army, etc.)

- New Total Knowledge and Creating a Perfect Man courses this year, which will help Meditators and Sidhas understand Maharishi’s Vedic Science thoroughly.
- Following the above Sankalpa, double or triple the following:
Donors for Vedic Pandits, subscriptions to the Maharishi Veda App, and orders for personal and National Yagyas. - Establishing a permanent Group of Yogic Flyers for Turkish and Cyprus Governments.
- Finalise the legal and financial situation of the land for the Ankara Peace Palace and start construction.
- Double or triple the number of initiations and attendance to all of Maharishi’s Programmes
This is the land for the Ankara Peace Palace which was offered by a Sidha. The view has a beautiful lake towards the East and the land slopes towards the East as well.

- Initiations increased three-fold in December
- We are holding a residence course next weekend
- The Creating a Perfect Man course has started with 19 CPs
- This year 10 students from Turkey joined MIU
- More than 40 meditators joined the 14 lessons course on Consciousness by Dr Tony Nader.
TURKEY/ ANKARA: More interest in MIU and good news
ANKARA TM CENTRE – Cihan and Aysegul Bakkalcioglu:
- TM initiations are increasing.
- New beginners have a great interest in knowledge; Dr Nader’s lectures and seminars are attracting many.
- There is an increasing interest in MIU Courses and master’s degree programs.
- There are some good signs of relief in social and economic issues in Turkey. It seems “opposition to progress and evolution” recedes with the help of the last yagya cycle.

Online courses
- Turkey has started an online self-pulse reading course
- Coherence creating WPAs are continuously being run. A new WPA is coming up soon.
- Bhagavad Gita classes with Raja Bright started a year ago and continue.
- The reading of Dr Tony Nader’s book “One unbounded ocean of consciousness” started this week for Meditators and Sidhas.
- Ankara Peace Palace conceptual design studies are ongoing.
- Regarding monthly National Yagyas, we feel that some of the effects are the timely arrival of seasons and a decrease in terrorism.
- he TM-Sidhi course has completed the in-center section with 12 course participants
- Two WPA ‘s will be organized, one in July and another in August
- Matri Mandala meetings are held once a month
- Covid 19 is getting less dangerous for the country
- Ankara’s activities with SCI and Total Knowledge courses have inspired two meditators to join the recent TM-Sidhi course.
- Ongoing Total Knowledge Course attendees have amazing experiences and intellectual growth which sum up as growth in higher states of consciousness.
- More people are attending online Yoga Asana, TM and TM-Sidhi programs, and various knowledge activities.
- Since Covid-19 vaccination has increased in the younger age group and the lock-down ended as of July 1st, there are good signs of improvement in social mood due to the decrease of tension in social life.

TM courses for health professionals
Creating A Perfect Man Course has begun with 20 course participants. There are mostly health professionals among the new starters. Some short excerpts of experiences:

ISTANBUL PEACE PALACE – Turkish students to study at MIU.
The MIU Computer Science Department attracts new students in Turkey for MS degree in CS. Four students are on the way to Fairfield for this fall semester. Some of them are new graduates from their BS degrees in Ankara universities, while the others were working in their respective fields. They are highly enthusiastic and feel privileged to have the chance of experiencing Consciousness Based Education and of the new horizons in their career vision.
TM for Health professionals
Increasing Interest on TM among health professionals in Ankara. They are reporting highly positive results, advising TM to their colleagues and family.

- Matri Mandala monthly meetings with 100 participants
- Completion of SCI, Total Knowledge, Diet and Nutrition courses
- The first online SCI course in Turkey has been completed by 10 people, creating a wave of fulfilment in gaining intellectual understanding along with nice experiences for the course participants and the course leaders. They all concurred that the knowledge they had in the SCI course is so deep and so fulfilling that this course better be given to all the new meditators as a must in the beginning, and feel regret about missing this course in the earlier years of their meditation.
- Some of the SCI course participants have been inspired to become TM teachers soon.
- New SCI course to start online
- National coherence: 80-100 attendees for advanced lectures and online meditation
- Initiations now tend to increase.

TM Governors, Cihan and Ayşegül report news from the Ankara TM Centre activities:
Vastu news from Vastu architect, Cihan:
- It was understood that high rise, high density population housing was not convenient in crowded cities during pandemic conditions.
- People who escaped from their apartments in Ankara’s city centre have started to construct houses where our Vastu home is, a garden homes region with low density population and clean air.
- I have been witnessing new home construction almost every day. It seems we will be more active in introducing Maharishi Vastu Architecture these days.

FLAG RAISING ON VJAYA DASHAMI / VICTORY DAY
National Director Albert Baruh reports on the latest progress: We had 45 participants for the group online meditation and Maharishi’s lecture in our Sunday meeting. Online courses which have started are: SCI, Total Knowledge, Creating A Perfect Man 1, Maharishi Yoga Asanas.

Turkey now is in need of Support of Nature, for relieving the unfortunate, precarious situation, of the country, the region and the world. If the junction point is unstable, so is the world.

Turkey achieved five National Yagyas for this last cycle!
- We are fully focussed on keeping all national TM activities lively. This includes many courses and our well-attended regular online group meditations.
- This weekend we have a World Peace Assembly with 30 CPs to help boost coherence and inner peace.
- Also we plan a TM-Sidhi course at the end of August.
- The book by Bob Roth has now been translated in Turkish.

“During the pandemic there were less clashes in the Middle East as well as in the World. The Nature has drawn the attention of the people to more deep levels were they understood the value of life and living. Also the dispute between Nations decreased, the economy lost its superficial value, it was understood that if there is no consumption and demand oil is worthless. Life and survival became the main theme. From all these points we can conclude that the pandemic brought good lessons to humanity.”

The Turkish government announced earlier this week that Ankara has sent aid and equipment to at least 57 countries fighting corona-virus, including the UK, Spain, Italy and Balkan countries.

- In İzmir a perfect piece of land for 15 villas for a TM-Sidha community has been purchased
- Also a devoted Sidha offered land for the construction of a Peace Palace in Ankara
- In Istanbul´s Peace Palace eight Sidhas have started to live there constantly and they practise their TM-Programme together every day bringing good group coherence.

Report from Ayşegül and Cihan, TM Centre Ankara:
- Increase of interest in TM in Ankara during 2019: We have initiated families with children and grandparents, university students, high school students, university professors and other academicians, politicians, public service officers, businessmen, doctors, life coaches, and yoga teachers (getting surprised after their first meditation how easy it was to experience what they have been craving for so many years), retired elderly people, government officers, self-employed, psychologists, psychiatrists and the jobless.
- The Turkish Government recently decided to boost their economy with more local production rather than importing everything and getting loans from foreign financial trap giants. This is contrary to what they had done during the past 15 years. Turkey is waking up to its own own great potential for development. This growth could potentially secure peace within the country and within our neighbours.
- We will be forever alert to support National Yagyas consistently, together with an established Group of Yogic Flyers. (Very interestingly, this recent awakening of National Spirit was reflected immediately in the field of sports since October 2019, where Turkish sportsman and teams have started to win many gold and other medals in international competitions).

“Turkey is number one in the world in helping refugees. Even though our economy is not so good we accommodate 4.5 million refugees from Syria. The results in terms of economy and increasing the local unemployment are not so easy for the Turkish citizens but I wanted to mention that when even rich countries are afraid of a few immigrants, Turkey has accepted such a big burden in order to help hopeless immigrants.
We participate every Saturday in the Middle East online group meditations. In this picture on the right you see a Middle East group meditation October 2019 Denizli TM Centre Turkey. Their experience is ‘deep silence’ and peace inside.”

October 2019 Special suggestion/plan from TM Centre Ankara – Cihan and Ayşegül Bakkalcıoğlu
‘We propose a plan for creating a group of 1000 Yogic Flyers in Turkey by incorporating our Movement community business/governmental persons who are accomplished in their life and strongly appreciate Maharishi’s knowledge and technologies, in establishing a totally professional organisation / institution / company for that purpose. We have been discussing this option for the last three-four months with Raja Paul and some of Turkish governors including some sidha businessman. There is not much concrete progress yet. But at least we are building some sort of intention/awareness for that goal. Maybe other countries can do the same thing?’
In Turkey there is constant attention on creating groups in person, on-line and at WPAs.

September 2019 National Director Albert Baruh reports
Some good news: World terrorist attacks have gone down 44% over 3 years. In Europe such attacks have decreased by 75%. In the last year there was a 22% decrease overall. In the global ranking of terrorism, Turkey was shown some years back in the top 10 countries, and now the good news is that now Turkey has dropped right down to a ranking of 42.

“We have just had a really great World Peace Assembly (WPA) with almost 60 course participants (CPs) high up in the beautiful mountains. As an outcome, one enthusiastic course participant has promised to build a Peace Palace (more news will be shared as we progress with plans).”

Some of good news we noticed in the media:
- Turkish Institute of Statistics: Traffic accidents resulting with loss of life were decreased by 51.5 % as of June 2019 compared to the last year’s. Also note that the same statistical data has improved by 36.5% in Feb 2019 compared to Feb 2018, which means even more progress within 4 months. The decrease in the rate of general accidents in Turkey is 32% as of June 2019 compared to last year.
- Different political parties are inviting government to establish a Turkey Alliance altogether as soon as possible, in order to more easily solve very large problems. This indicates a desire for union within country collective consciousness.
- The increase of income from tourism has been estimated as 10%, compared to last year by August 2019, with already realised fiscal amounts plus projections for December 2019.

“The last local elections in Istanbul show that the collective consciousness of the public is awakened. People desire more loving, positive and friendly attitude in the leaders. This is the result of the rising world consciousness and national consciousness created by every single meditator and also group meditations, courses held everywhere on the globe. The inauguration of the Istanbul Peace Palace is also a major step in this evolution.’ So in conclusion Albert says: ‘The National Yagyas are a great help to support Nations.”

“In addition to Albert’s words, I’d say that Nature is organising everything very well in Turkey. Actually, Nature is strongly and kindly organising, each and everything very well in Turkey: Initiations have gained permanency, like 8-10 person/month out of 80-100 Intro-attendee/month, since last year (figures are mean values). I think, we have to do better in Maharishi Yoga by creating a group of 1000 Yogic Flyers soon and in increasing the amount of Maharishi Yagya donations as well. Jai Guru Dev.”

Spring 2019 TWO TIMELY ALERTS FOR GOOD ATTENTION
The ME Peace Committee is putting increased attention on Lebanon and Iran in the context of the Middle East campaign. The main recourse is to increas TM-Sidhi groups and coherence in close proximity supported by the long arm of Yagya! An increase of tension requires a higher level of coherence to balance it. There is an option to join the ME campaign with the country of concern mentioned but still using the ME Sankalpa.
TURKEY April 2019 a powerful message from A.Cihan Bakkalcioglu ,Governor, Ankara, Turkey
“I’d like to summarize for you the view and observations of mine, that I expressed during the conference, regarding Turkey’s benefits from the National Yagyas and especially the climate during and after the last municipal elections on March 31st:
First of all, the elections were realised peacefully, except one or two conflict, where 48 milion people voted. Almost every major political party won the elections, so to say. Sounds strange, but this is the situation. Of course they all have some loss also, but they don’t mind it and talking about their gain only and all seem really satisfied. This smoothened the whole atmosphere in Turkey miracelously.
Governing party leader (Mr. Erdogan) announced to his supporters that they are still the first party with the votes received %44 in the City Parliaments, while losing the Mayor seats in the biggest metropolitants like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, etc. after 20-25 years.
… Cihan Bakkalcioglu continues… “He made a very calm, peaceful and positive speech persuading the people that they would do great things as the Government in the coming years and that, “..now is the time to give priority to economy and peace in the international affairs.”
On the other hand, the opposition camp announced and celebrated their success in the increase of the amount of their votes and in winning many big city Mayor seats, which they couldn’t own during the past 20 years. But they also expressed cooperation messages to the Governing Party and they did not exaggerate their celebration for not to annoy their rivals.
Even the smaller parties celebrated their success on increasing their votes with respeect to previos elections.
As a result, we began to see smiling happy faces everywhere, in all the cities of Turkey, after so many years, in spite of political tension and ongoing austerity due to economical shortcomings. There is a much better atmosphere in Turkey now, a smooth, soft and calm one. The political polarization disappearing and love thy neighbor increasing.
This shows the importance of incessant support of National Yagyas for the sake our lovely countries and for the sake of our dear world.

April 2019 Excellent attendance at the recent Ankara Vastu conference.The Fourth International Vastu Conference, held in the Maharishi Peace Palace, Istanbul, Turkey, from 5 to 7 April 2019, brought together real estate professionals – developers, builders, architects and planners – from Turkey, Lebanon, Cyprus, Romania, Estonia, UK, Japan, and USA, to learn about the principles and practical application of Vastu from world experts representing the Institute of Vedic Architecture and City Planning.
