Dear Friends,

Recently Dr. Girish Varma kindly organized for a video team to visit the Brahmasthan and other Vedic Pandit campuses. In the short video included below, we’ve sought to give you a sense of Pandit life and a first-hand glimpse into the systematic training that Maharishi has put in place through which Vedic life is being restored throughout India and through which peace will come to all mankind. We very much hope you enjoy watching it.

The last few weeks have seen a powerful charge in the momentum to support at least 8,000 Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan of India. I credit this surge to the wonderful idea from many of the dear Pandit supporters to create a simple, automatic, monthly donation program as the main focus of our fund raising efforts. This program is now in place and it is a heartening thrill every day to witness the response from donors large and small, literally from Montenegro to Malaysia to Maine.

Many of you are donating $240 or $120 per month, enough to take care of one Pandit for the whole year (or half that amount); some even committed to 11, 7 or 5 Pandits; and some are donating $10 or $20 per month — all as they comfortably can and all so important and deeply appreciated.

Now, Arlene and I wanted to share the wonderful news with you that, as the twin jet engines propelling us to this 8,000 goal, Drs. Howard and Alice Settle have arranged for their Foundation to directly support 1,000 Pandits. Recognizing that this project is the key to securing world peace and affluence, they are also leading a major effort to inspire six other donors to follow their lead, each supporting 1,000 Pandits. The 8th donor — or, more accurately, the 1st donor and, I believe, the core of this momentum — is the collective donations of all our dear Movement family from around the world. We have told the Settles that collectively Maharishi’s global family group will reach $240,000 per month and so be at least 1/8 of what is required.

Our commonality of purpose is at the heart of this most noble and practical endeavor and with true admiration Arlene and I thank everyone who is participating. Please know that your donation is vital for the Pandits and also, very importantly, is inspiring others, including the largest donors. With your leadership and support, the reality of 8,000 Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan of India will soon be blessing the world.
